About

How well do you know your studio tools, and how to care for them?  Join us with instructor Nathan Dube for a deep dive into servicing and maintaing your Flex Shaft and torch (acetylene and air).

Description

Nathan will demonstrate how to regrease and clean your flex shaft, which is an important routine practice to ensure your equipment runs smoothly and stays functional.  In addition to watching the thorough demonstration, students are encouraged to bring their own flex shaft to the workshop so they can repeat the process on their own equipment.  Each student will receive their own personal Foredom lubrication kit to use and take home.

Nathan will also demonstrate how to maintain safety and proper connections on an acetylene and air torch.  He will go over how to properly check for gas leaks, how to change out components, and how to troubleshoot/change O-rings in Smith tips.
