Program - Craft Community Day at HCCC

HMAG will be participating in Houston Center for Contemporary Craft's spring event, Craft Community Day!  This free event features local artist guilds and community groups. Visitors of all ages are invited to see craft demonstrations, visit the resident artists’ studios, and view the spring exhibitions.

HMAG will be onsite demonstrating how to rollerprint textures on metal, as well as how to apply a simple patina to add value contrast and make the rollerprint images stand out!

Come out and visit HCCC and HMAG, and while you're there, you can also see many more demonstrations from Houston-area craft guilds.  Other participating groups include:

This event will take place both in and outside HCCC - filling the building, the parking lot, and the Craft Garden!  Nearby parking will be available on the street and at Lawndale Art Center.
