Flex Shaft Attachments and Capabilities

Come with Instructor Cathy Prieto-Smith on a journey of discovery. We’ll learn innovative ways to use your flex shaft with tons of tricks & tips using accessories in ways you probably haven’t thought of. We will begin by touching on the basics of burs, bits, & abrasives, then dive into an array of other uses like cutting prongs, setting a stone, and using it as a lathe. Then we will take some time to create a beautiful pair of earrings, using your newfound knowledge.  Participants will practice hands-on activities including tube setting 4mm stones, creating a lathed bead, creating texture with cut-off wheels, and more.
